Anna & Josiah – Banjo-Pickin’ Engagement Photography

“Do you mind that Josiah brought his banjo? We were hoping to get some pics with it.” Have there ever been better words uttered at the start of an engagement photography session? I’m guessing not. Add to the mix some custom, homemade cupcakes with their wedding date printed in icing and we had ourselves an amazing recipe for a wonderful e-session. Did I mention these two are perfectly in love with each other? The images seemed to take themselves at this session, everything just came together perfectly. (more…)
Adrienne & Kevin * Duquesne Engagement Photography

I have been blessed to have so many great new client meetings over the last several years. It is always fun to meet new people and talk about the details of their wedding day! One such meeting was on a cold afternoon in January when I first met Adrienne, Kevin and Adrienne’s Mom Joan. From the moment we started discussing their wedding day I got such an amazing positive vibe from this family! We laughed and joked like we’ve known each other for years, and considering how well we all got along I would have been shocked if they hadn’t have booked. (more…)

I always put it out there when scheduling sessions that I’ll be happy to meet clients super early in the morning for some amazing sunrise shots…especially for engagement photography in the Summer when it can be really hot even in the late evening. I can’t figure out why no one ever takes me up on it? (please note my sarcasm, I can’t blame anyone for not wanting to give up their Z’s for a photo session!) (more…)
