Joshua David * 2012 Infant Photography
It’s not every day you meet a brand new little baby with the same first and middle name as you…let alone get the opportunity to photograph him! I’ve know Joshua David’s Mommy (Kelly), Aunts Raeanne & Katie and Uncle Regis since we all attended Chartiers Valley High School together what seems like an eternity ago. In fact I had the pleasure of photographing Joshua’s Aunt Katie & new Uncle David’s wedding last Summer…what an amazing day that was!
Katie and Raeanne had the awesome idea of purchasing the infant session for Joshua as a gift for Kelly’s baby shower. I thought this was so cool that I’m working on getting some gift cards made up for this very purpose, as well as wedding print credits, etc. So many thanks to the Makowski girls for the awesome idea!
Joshua brought Mom and Dad (also Josh!) with him, which I always love (when both parents are into the session). This little guy was super-chill for this session (in fact he slept most of the time he was in the studio!) which is always nice but not without challenges. When babies snooze away it can make it difficult to make images that show off the developing personality and those little quirks that tragically slip from our memory as baby grows up so fast. I think with the help of Mom, Dad and a few cute outfits we were able to accomplish our goal and make some great photos of little Joshua David. Thanks for sharing him with me guys!
