Moms sometimes have a difficult time putting into words the incredible impact their children have on their lives. Susie has no trouble at all: “He just might soften my cold, dead heart yet.” I can’t say exactly how much sarcasm is in there, but it’s gotta be a truckload. I hadn’t met Susie before Lincoln’s infant photography session, but her obvious love for her baby boy leads me to believe that her heart couldn’t have been all that cold and/or dead before he was born!
Not unlike the most recent handful of precious babies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this Summer, Lincoln was a perfect little gentleman. Rebekah joined me for this studio session to help out and we just went to town trying out some new lighting setups while Lincoln just went with the flow.

We’ve known the Hagey’s forever. Literally. There are so many memories between our families that there’s no point to even trying get into it here! The’ve been crazy supportive sending me referrals at every opportunity and showing a sincere interest in my success. (more…)

As a photographer for Josh Mariana Photography, I was honored to take a break from our crazy busy wedding season, and capture this little gentleman! Baby Jack: The first child of Rachel and Dave Borland, and what a gem! Rachel asked me to photograph this little guy as soon as they found out that they were expecting so I have been waiting in anticipation for as long as this bun was in the oven. As you’ll see in the following photos, he was most definitely worth the wait! (more…)
