The North Shore has been a popular photo destination ever since it was overhauled following the completion of PNC Park. I’ve known Karin and her family since she was born. She first contacted me to set up a meeting to discuss engagement/wedding photography at the end of Summer 2011 and we had a great time catching up and talking details! We decided to have their engagement shoot in their current hometown of Boston, MA. You might remember Karin & Steve’s e-session post from last October.
The wedding was held back in Pittsburgh at Valley Brook Country Club. We had a terrific day starting with some quick candids at the awesome home of Mary Ann & Robert Steinbock, parents of the bride. The rest of the day would be spent in and around the country club. The weather threatened to turn on us but never did, and Karin & Steve ended up with a beautiful day celebrating with friends & family. Special thanks to the Steinbocks for their support and encouragement, and of course for the business! It was my pleasure to be a part of this amazing wedding!

I had a hunch from the get-go that Jess & Jim were going to be a fun couple to work with. Their e-session confirmed that for sure! Not only do these two look great through the lens, but they were fun and hilarious…joking around about every little thing, just as we do here at JMP. (more…)
Most people relish the day after Christmas as a day to sleep in, lay on the couch, stuff bellies full of leftovers, play with new toys and pretty much just do nothing at all. This past December 26th I was happy to have a reason to get up and out to meet Laura & Matt on Pitt’s campus for a fun and chilly e-session. (more…)
