I’ve known the Griffiths for years and years, they are AMAZING people with a wonderful spirit that just slaps you in the face (in a good way!) as soon as you meet them. We did a fun family session back in 2010 which was before I started my blog, but here you can see one of those images in my family section here. When I heard they were expecting a fourth little one I couldn’t wait for that phone call to set up a session. It came in January and so a few days later I packed up my gear for a fun night in the Griffith household. (more…)

Mia & Lola * Two of Pittsburgh’s Cutest Sisters!

I first met Mia & Lola back in June, 2011 just weeks after Lola was born. For some reason (probably wedding craziness) I never got around to writing up a blog post to highlight some photos of these two beautiful little girls. Ethan Is One!

Little Ethan came to visit me in the studio last week and we had the best time! Mommy (Melissa) made sure to bring a sweet wardrobe with lots of variety, something I always recommend to all of my clients. You can always decide to wear/not wear something when you get here, but if you leave an outfit/accessory at home I can almost guarantee that’s the one you’ll want as soon as we start shooting!!

It was really a pleasure hanging out with Ethan and Melissa for a few hours. Our two-year-old Lizzie even got to hang around while Daddy worked. Ethan seemed to like having a little friend around! Check out a selection from the session:

Joa Turns One and Jack Starts Pre-School!

One of the privileges of doing what I do is getting to take photos of those closest to me. I have two nephews and three nieces and it’s a pleasure each and every time I get to photograph any of them! My brother Jeremy and his lovely wife Stephanie brought Jack and Joa over to the studio last week for a quick session. Jack is starting pre-school this year and Joa turned one on 9/8/11. These two love the camera and I’m in love with both of them!! (more…)
